Meet Team Orléans South-Navan
Heather Scott
Chief of Staff & Office Management
An avid community volunteer and a proud city nerd; prior to joining Team Orléans South-Navan, Heather worked in the not-for-profit sector in healthcare improvement and has a passion for systems improvement and community work.
Heather manages schedules, handles office administration, triages case work, and keeps the entire team organized. She is a great first point of contact for our office.

Adam Haga
Councillor Assistant – Communications & Policy Advisor
Born and raised in the east end, Adam joins Team Orléans South-Navan after working at Ottawa Community Housing, Councillor’s Row, and in broadcasting. He enjoys learning from others and sharpening his skills in communications and public relations.
In his personal time, you can find Adam cheering on his favourite football team and staying up-to-date on the latest local news and sports.
Amanda Kristalovich
Councillor Assistant – Caseworker and Community Relations
Amanda joins the team with a social work background and has worked at many non-profits and educational institutions. Her experience includes working with many different populations of people, primarily in roles focusing on program coordination and direct social service.
Amanda brings her experience with community building and creating relationships to her role in serving the residents of Ward 19. If you contact our office with questions or concerns, you will likely hear from Amanda or see her assisting the Councillor at community events or city meetings.

Katie Desormeaux
Case Work & Communications
Before joining Team Orléans South-Navan, Katie worked in social services in front line harm reduction and counselling roles. In the office, she uses her social work background and education to facilitate resident-focused, empathy driven communications. She is passionate about outreach and engagement and her favourite office job is answering the phone. A problem solver by nature, she believes in the power of collaboration and the importance of diversity in community building.
Outside the office, she’s likely getting her hands dirty with her pets. She can be found either cooking at home with her cat underfoot, or at the pottery studio. Her favourite things include loud music, VIP karaoke, and playing trivia. She has a 200-day (and counting) wordle streak and does the crossword every morning.
